About the Recreation and Parks Master Plan

Purpose

The purpose of the Johns Creek recreation and parks master plan is to guide the department for the next 15 years and provide strategic direction and vision with specific plans for the redevelopment and expansion of parks and open spaces, facilities, and recreation opportunities offered to the community.

A consistent theme throughout the development of this plan is Johns Creek Parks’ commitment to a quality Parks system that delivers high-quality parks, trails, and facilities, and supports outstanding recreation programs and events for all residents, while contributing to the quality of life of Johns Creek.
